Craig Lomax is preparing for a busy 2016. On the eve of the start of the season opener Lomax and his XtremeRX team are more than ready. The car has had extensive work carried out over the winter months. The Milltek backed driver will also be on the grid for round 1 of the European Super1600 championship in Montalegre, Portugal. The first of many planned European outings this year.
The XtremeRX family is also set to grow with the addition of two new drivers.
Martin Dalzell will be driving in the very competitive Swift Sport Championship. Dalzell will certainly be one to watch. He comes from racing National Hot Rods so will be more than used to the close door to door racing the Suzuki’s are known for.
Graham Rumsey is set to contest the Hot Hatch class in 2016. The Citroen Saxo he will be driving is very familiar to the XtremeRX team as it’s the same car that Lomax drove to the title in 2014. Rumsey has developed his racing craft in Karting for many years.
Craig Lomax, #24:
‘We have put in a lot of hard work over the winter months. The car has been stripped back and completely rebuilt based on what we learned last year.
It’s great to welcome Martin and Graham to the XtremeRX team. It’s certainly going to be a very busy year for us!’
The championship gets underway on Sunday 6th March at Croft Circuit
